You should check and see what your editing software can do for you, it might make life easier. I believe that iMovie can also handle AVCHD natively.
TRANSFER UTILITY LE CANON PRO
Offhand I know that Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere will handle that media natively, and Avid Media Composer can AMA Link to it. However it looks like the HF R20/R21 are AVCHD cameras, so any piece of software that can speak AVCHD will do the trick.
TRANSFER UTILITY LE CANON HOW TO
I have no idea how to use it, but the manual for your camera seems to give you an overview. Looking at the manual for the HF R20/R21 PDF, it looks like you have two options on how to handle your footage.įirst is that PIXELA will do the trick. If anyone is knowledgeable about what I should download, I would be eternally grateful. I need ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.5, but I don't see it on the page under my model number, just a Transfer Utility.
*EDIT: I may have found the download from the PIXELA site, but I want to make sure it is the correct one and will work before I pay $40. This has been good I've gotten a few gigs taking pictures, but now someone wants to know if I could film some interviews as well.
TRANSFER UTILITY LE CANON UPGRADE
I originally bought just the camcorder, looking to upgrade to HD video, and was going to buy a second camera with the software, but instead decided to buy a Canon T3i, getting into photography. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I hope to get a gig filming interviews this weekend.

Does anyone know where I might be able to download the transfer (and any other related) software? I've tried the Canon site, but can only find ImageBrowser, which I am sure isn't the right software.
